Start-Up Window for NBFI Clients
Individuals or businesses, as defined below, which have an acceptable idea and a business plan/proposal that is able to generate positive projected cash flow and preserve and/or create employment in need of financing and fulfill the following criteria:
- Individuals or other forms of entities registered in QKB or the Farmers Register and have less than 12 months of operations;
- Start-Up MSMEs, that have sufficient projected Repayment Capacity for the requested financing;
- Lack or only possess insufficient collateral;
- Clearance from the Credit Registry of the Bank of Albania for the business and owner;
- Cleared by the most recent UN Sanction list and European Sanction list;
- New loans to existing clients who currently have no outstanding non-performing bad loans;
- New loans to new clients;
- Maximum loan ceiling amount: Euro 20,000 (or equivalent in Albanian Lek);
- Loan types: Working Capital and Investment Loans. No consumption finance;
- Maturity:
- Working Capital: maximum 36 months, but not less than 12 months (up to 6 months grace period);
- Investment Loans: maximum 60 months, but not less than 12 months (up to 12 months grace period).
