Start-Up Window for NBFI Clients

Individuals or businesses, as defined below, which have an acceptable idea and a business plan/proposal that is able to generate positive projected cash flow and preserve and/or create employment in need of financing and fulfill the following criteria:

  • Individuals or other forms of entities registered in QKB or the Farmers Register and have less than 12 months of operations;
  • Start-Up MSMEs, that have sufficient projected Repayment Capacity for the requested financing;
  • Lack or only possess insufficient collateral;
  • Clearance from the Credit Registry of the Bank of Albania for the business and owner;
  • Cleared by the most recent UN Sanction list and European Sanction list;
  • New loans to existing clients who currently have no outstanding non-performing bad loans;
  • New loans to new clients;
  • Maximum loan ceiling amount: Euro 20,000 (or equivalent in Albanian Lek);
  • Loan types: Working Capital and Investment Loans. No consumption finance;
  • Maturity:
    1. Working Capital: maximum 36 months, but not less than 12 months (up to 6 months grace period);
    2. Investment Loans: maximum 60 months, but not less than 12 months (up to 12 months grace period).
